Use SMART Board in the education of pupils with moderate mental retardation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o využití interaktivní tabule SMART Board v edukaci žáků se středně těžkou mentální retardací. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu středně těžká mentální retardace, legislativu ve vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, způsoby vzdělávání, kompetence, metody vzdělávání a didaktické prostředky v edukaci žáků se středně těžkou mentální retardací. V práci jsou popsány kompetence speciálního pedagoga a pedagogická diagnostika. Následně je popsána interaktivní tabule SMART Board, její funkce, výuka pomocí této tabule, výukové programy a výhody a nevýhody použití této interaktivní tabule. Cílem výzkumného šetření, který byl nastíněn v druhé části diplomové práce, bylo zjištění, zda interaktivní tabule pomáhá žákům se středně těžkou mentální retardací v procesu edukace.

Abstract:

This thesis examines the use of SMART Board interactive board in the education of pupils with moderate mental retardation. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the term moderate mental retardation, legislation in the education of pupils with special educational needs, methods of training, competence, methods of learning and teaching resources in the education of pupils with moderate mental retardation. The paper describes a special education teacher competencies and pedagogy. The next chapter describes the interactive board SMART Board, its functions, teaching with this board, tutorials, and the advantages and disadvantages of using the interactive board. The aim of the research, which was outlined in the second part of the thesis was to determine whether interactive board helps pupils with moderate mental retardation in the education process.
