Cieľom diplomovej práce, ktorá sa skladá z troch kapitol, je účtovné zobrazenie, účtovné oceňovanie zásob a ich vykazovanie v účtovnej závierke. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá charakteristikou zásob v podniku a ich členením. Druhá kapitola rozoberá účtovanie a oceňovanie zásob v obchodnej spoločnosti.
