Optimal assessment of the IOL power in cataract surgery
Abstract:
Úspěšnost operace katarakty závisí z refrakčního hlediska na výpočtu optimální hodnoty nitrooční čočky (IOL). Tato práce se zabývá srovnáním kontaktní a imerzní ultrazvukové biometrie a posouzením přesnosti vzorců třetí generace (SRK/T versus Holladay) pro výpočet optické mohutnosti nitrooční čočky s ohledem na pooperační cílovou refrakci.
Abstract:
The success of a cataract surgery in terms of a refractive results depends on optimal intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation. The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy of contact and immersin A - scan ultrasound biometric technique and to review the accuracy of the third – generation IOL power calculation formulas (SRK/T versus Holladay) in terms of predicted target refraction.
