A Project for Increasing the Attractiveness of the BEVLAVA Cycle Path

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zvýšit atraktivnost a návštěvnost cyklostezky BEVLAVA, která vede Zlínským krajem v České republice a Trenčianským krajem na Slovensku. Tato práce se skládá ze tří částí, a to z teoretické, analytické a projektové. V teoretické části je nejprve definován cestovní ruch a udržitelný cestovní ruch a dále pak cykloturistika, přičemž jsou definovány cyklostezky, cyklotrasy a také cykloturisté. Analytická část se věnuje nejprve samotné cyklostezce BEVLAVA, dále je zpracována geografická analýza obou dotčených regionů a SWOT analýza cyklostezky. Součástí analytické části je také řízený rozhovor s destinačním management jednoho ze zúčastněných mikroregionů. V projektové části práce je za účelem zvýšení atraktivnosti a návštěvnosti cyklostezky představen návrh samotného produktu, který propojuje cykloturistiku a agroturistikou v daných regionech, přičemž jsou zde zahrnuty také náklady a rizika projektu.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to increase the attractiveness and frequency of visits of cycle path BEVLAVA, which is situated in Zlín Region in Czech Republic and Trenčín Region in Slovakia. This work consists of three parts, namely theoretical, analytical and project. The theoretical part first defines tourism and sustainable tourism and then bicycle touring, while defining cycle paths, cycle routes and cyclists. The analytical part first deals with the cycle path BEVLAVA itself, and then a geographical analysis of both affected regions and a SWOT analysis of the cycle path are conducted. The analytical part also includes a guided interview with destination management of one of the participating microregions. In the project part of the thesis, in order to increase the attractiveness and frequency of visits of the cycle path, the proposal of the product itself is presented, that connects bicycle touring and agrotourism in the regions, and also includes the costs and risks of the project.
