Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá obdobím Velké hospodářské krize let 1929-38, konkrétně problematikou Dust Bowlu (Prachové pánve) a s tím spojenou migrací obyvatelstva z Oklahomy do Kalifornie a jejím vyobrazením v dílech Johna Steinbecka, Hrozny hněvu a Sanory Babb, Whose Names Are Uknown (Jejichž jména jsou neznámá). Abstract:
This bachelor thesis studies the period of The Great Depression from 1929 to 1938, specifically the problematics of Dust Bowl and the migration of Oklahoma residents and its portrayal in the works of John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath and Sanora Babb, Whose Names Are Unknown.
