Psychotherapeutic training in Gestalt therapy as a method of education

Abstract:

Gestalt terapie vznikla v sociokulturním kontextu humanistických psychoterapeutických směrů. Zrod Gestalt terapie se datuje v roce 1951, kdy byla publikována kniha ``Gestalt Therapy. Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality" autorů F. Perlse, R. Hefferlina and P. Goodmana. Gestalt terapie vychází z holistického předpokladu, že člověk je jednotou aspektů mentálních, psychologických, fyzických a socio kulturních. Gestalt terapie je modalitou zážitkovou, experimentální a existenciální. Metodologie psychoterapeuticého výcviku v Gestalt terapii je založena na stejných základech: zážitkovém, experimentálním a existenciálním.Skupinový proces je propojen s nácvikem praktických terapeutických dovedností. Český Institut pro výcvik v Gestalt terapii otevřel první výcvikovou skupinu v roce 1993. Výcvik byl od té doby postupně přizpůsobován českému kulturnímu a psychoterapeutickému kontextu. Situace psyhoterapeutického výcviku se stala předmětem kvantitativního výzkumu, který se zaměřil na vliv tohoto vzdělávacího programu na účastníky, zejména na jejich životní spokojenost a osobnostní charakteristiky. Tento výzkum může být inspirací pro další výzkumnou práci v této oblasti

Abstract:

Gestalt therapy was founded in the socio-cultural context of humanistic psychotherapis. The birth of Gestalt therapy dates back to the publication of the book ``Gestalt Therapy. Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality" by F. Perls, R. Hefferline and P. Goodman, in 1951. Gestalt Therapy is based on the holistic assumption that a human being reflects the inseparable unity of his or her bodily, mental, psychological and social aspects . Gestalt Therapy is experiential, experimental and existential. A methodology of training in Gestalt therapy is based on the same premises. It includes experiential, experimental and existential participation in the group process and practical training of therapeutic skills. The Czech Institute of Gestalt therapy opened its first training group in 1993 since then the training was accomodated to Czech cultural context. A Gestalt psychotherapy training became a medium of quantitative research about the influence of training methods on trainees. This research can become a contribution to further inquiry of this field
