The exceptionally gifted pupils at primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vzděláváním mimořádně nadaných žáků v primární škole. Teoretická část charakterizuje, definuje a vymezuje pojem mimořádně nadaný žák. Uvádí pohledy domácích a zahraničních autorů a legislativně vymezuje vzdělávání mimořádně nadaných žáků. Uvádí základní druhy organizačních forem vzdělávání a výchovně vzdělávací potřeby nadaných žáků. Dále charakterizuje osobnost učitele nadaného žáka, jeho přístupy, kompetence, profesní dovednosti a důležitost role při identifikaci nadání. Vymezuje současné problémy vzdělávání nadaných žáků. Za současný problém považujeme obtížnou identifikaci nadaných žáků s poruchou učení, projevy podvýkonu nadaných žáků a působení sociálního prostředí. V závěru pojednává o přípravě pedagogů v důsledku těchto problémů. Jak se učitelé připravují na práci s nadanými žáky. Praktická část obsahuje výzkumné šetření provedené kvalitativní metodou. Jedná se o analýzu zkušeností samotných mimořádně nadaných žáků v rámci jejich zpětného hodnocení vzdělávání v primární škole, jejich názory, potřeby a problémy. V Praktické části je zjišťováno, jaké zkušenosti získali mimořádně nadaní žáci na prvním stupni primární školy, co nadaní žáci zažili a jak to hodnotí, ale také co nadaní žáci očekávají od učitele primární školy.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis discusses educating the exceptionally gifted pupils at primary school. The theoretical part characterizes, defines and classifies the concept of the exceptionally gifted pupil at primary school. It indicates the points of view of the Czech and foreign authors and delimits the education of the exceptionally gifted pupils. It introduces the basic kinds of organizing forms of education and educationally – educational needs of the exceptionally gifted pupils. It also characterizes the personality of the teacher who teaches the exceptionally gifted pupil. It describes his attitude, competences, professional skills and the importance of the role during the identification of the talent of the child. It also defines the current problems of the education of the exceptionally gifted pupils. For one of the current problems we consider the identification of the exceptionally gifted pupils with the specific disorders very difficult. Another problem can be the demonstration of the poor performance of the exceptionally gifted pupils and the influence of the social background. The part closes with the preparation of teachers as a result of these problems. The practical part contains a research survey based on a qualitative method. It is the analysis of experience of the exceptionally gifted pupils. It shows their feedback of evaluation at the primary school, their opinions, needs and problems. In the practical part there is also inquired what experience the exceptionally gifted pupils were given at the primary school and what they experienced there. They also evaluated all their experience. At the end, there is mentioned what the exceptionally gifted pupils expect from the teachers at primary school.
