The Development of the Music Scene in the Tábor District, specifically Swing Band Tábor
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem hudebního dění na Táborsku a zaměřuje se na hudbu jazzovou. První část pojednává o termínu jazz v pojetí různých autorů. V druhé části představuje region Táborsko. Třetí část seznamuje s regionem Táborsko a tanečními orchestry, které v oblasti působily. Hlavní náplň práce, která se věnuje kapele Swing Band Tábor, je obsažena ve třetí části.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the evolution of musical life in the Tábor region. Specifically, it focuses on jazz music that was created and played there. The first part addresses the term jazz in its various interpretations, the second part introduces the Tábor region and the final part is dedicated to the Tábor region and the final part is dedicated to the Tábor region and its dance orchestras which performed …more
