Abstract:
Hlavním cílem této práce bylo poukázat na výslovnostní rozdíly mezi standardní britskou angličtinou (tzv. Received Pronunciation) a standardní americkou angličtinou (tzv.General American). Aspirace byla analyzována pomocí dat ze spektrografu.
Abstract:
The aim of the present thesis is to provide information on the differences between General American and Received Pronunciation and give a detailed description of the differences between RP and GenAm aspiration having used the method of analysing two RP speakers and two GenAm speakers having used the data from a spectrograph.
