Study of matrix effects in LIBS spectrometry

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá vlivem matričních efektů na LIBS analýzu, nabízí jejich možnou interpretaci a snaží se popsat jejich mechanismy. V první části věnované stanovení vanadu ve vzorcích hexagonální mezoporézní siliky je soustředěna pozornost na vliv průměrné velikosti a distribuce velikosti částic na LIBS analýzu. Další část disertační práce popisuje vliv úpravy vzorku a použité atmosféry v ablační komoře na intenzitu LIBS signálu při stanovení fluoru. Matričními vlivy při stanovení titanu ve formě ultra tenké vrstvy na ocelovém plechu a nanočástic na textilu se zabývá poslední část práce.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis is focused onto the influence of matrix effects in LIBS analysis, offers a possible interpretation and attempts to describe their mechanisms. The first part deals with the determination of vanadium in samples of hexagonal mesoporous silica; attention is focused on the influence of average particle size and particle size distribution on the LIBS analysis. Another part of the thesis deals with the influence of the atmosphere used in the ablation chamber on LIBS signal intensity and the influence of sample preparation in the determination of fluorine. Determination of titanium in the form of ultra thin layers on the steel plate and nanoparticles on the textile deals the last part.
