Cílem této práce je porovnat český a anglický zvukový systém. Na začátku jsou diskutovány podobnosti a rozdíly v segmentální a suprasegmentální rovině obou jazyků s důrazem, na některé, pro čechynejvíce problematické prvky angličtiny.
