The life of the children suffering from epidermolysis bullosa congenita

Anotace:

Práce se zabývá problematikou sebeošetřování dětských pacientů s genetickým onemocněním kůže a sliznic – epidermolysis bullosa congenita (EBC). Teoretická část je zaměřena na strukturu kůže a její funkce, charakteristiku EBC a jednotlivé typy onemocnění. Dále se zmiňuji o sociální problematice, dědičnosti tohoto onemocnění a obecných pravidlech terapie. V závěru teoretické části je rozebrána problematika edukace a funkce zaškoleného zdravotnického personálu v edukaci pacientů s EBC a jejich rodin. V empirické části se zabývám výsledky šetření v oblasti sebeošetřování u dětských pacientů s EBC ve dvou věkových kategoriích (7 – 10 let a 11 – 15 let), metodikou edukačního kurzu sebeošetřování a edukační brožurou o ošetřování pacientů s EBC pro samotné pacienty a jejich rodiny. Výsledky šetření jsou zpracovány pomocí tabulek a grafů.

Abstract:

Thesis is dealing with the topic of the self treatment of the children patients with genetic disease of skin and mucous membrane – epidermolysis bullosa congenita (EBC). The theoretical part is aimed to describe the structure of the skin and to its main functions. EBC is distinguished there, including its all main types. Furthermore, I have been discussing the social aspects, the genetic inheritance and the general rules of the appropriate therapy. In conclusion of the theoretical part, there is elaborated, how to educate the patients and the function of the trained nursing staff in the education of the patients with EBC and their families. In the practical part, I am focused on the evaluation of the research in the area of the self treatment provided by the children patients in two age groups (7 - 10 years and 11 - 15 years). Furthermore, I have been working on the methodology of the Education training in the self treatment. The educational brochure is provided for the patients themselves and theirs families. The results of the research are made into graphic charts and summary sheets.
