Bullying Among Students at Secondary School and Possibilities of Prevention

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje problematiku šikany, která je zaměřená na školní prostředí. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojmy jako je šikana, její formy, příčiny, čím se šikana vyznačuje a kde se s ní nejčastěji setkáváme. Dále je teoretická část zaměřená na agresi a účastníky šikany. Závěr této části se věnuje přehledu vývojových stupňů šikany, jejích následků, prevence a vyšetřování. Praktická část je založená na kvantitativním výzkumu ve škole s cílem zmapovat výskyt šikany, zda byli žáci šikanováni, nebo byli svědkem patologického chování. Dalším cílem výzkumu je ověřit si dané hypotézy a snažit se navrhnout řešení šikany na školách.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis analyses the issue of bullying which is focused on the school environment. The theoretical part explains conceptions such as bullying its forms, causes, what is characterized by bullying and where it is most commonly encountered. Furthermore, the theoretical part is focused on aggression and participants in bullying. The conclusion of this section is devoted to an overview of developmental stages of bullying its consequences, prevention and investigation. The practical part is based on quantitative research at school in order to map the incidence of bullying, whether pupils have been bullied or have witnessed pathological behavior. Another objective of the research is to verify the given hypothesis and try to propose solutions of bullying at schools.
