Agro-environmental audit of the landscape on the scale of a specific agricultural farm

Abstract:

Řešení mé bakalářské práce odráží celospolečenskou potřebu zmírňování dopadů zemědělské činnosti na životní prostředí v dlouhodobém horizontu založeném na principu prevence. Postupuji formou kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzy životního cyklu zemědělského podniku včetně krajinářských souvislostí, a to především analytickým hodnocením ke konečnému návrhu řešení hospodaření zemědělských podniků. Hlavním zájmem mé práce je vytvoření podmínek pro transfer těchto výstupů do plánovací praxe s cílem osvěty ve vztahu k využívání krajiny v rámci odpovědného zemědělství. V první části práce se zaměřuji na tvorbu metodického postupu hodnocení vlivu hospodaření zemědělského činitele na krajinu, na jehož základě navrhuji optimalizační opatření za účelem podpory ekosystémových služeb a kvality produkce. Samotný audit krajiny je založen na detailní kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýze současného stavu hospodaření zemědělského podniku z hlediska vstupů a výstupů s ohledem na životní prostředí. Výsledkem analyticko-syntetického vyhodnocení je druhá část práce, tedy stanovení environmentálního profilu podniku a určení způsobu řešení problémových oblastí v hospodaření. Třetí část práce je samotný návrh optimalizace hospodaření z hlediska použitých vstupů, ochrany přírodních zdrojů a optimalizace krajinné struktury.

Abstract:

The solution of my bachelor thesis reflects the societal need to reduce the impact of agricultural activities on the environment in the long term based on the principle of prevention. I follow the form of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the farm life cycle, including landscape contexts, primarily through analytical evaluation to the final design of farm management solutions. The main interest of my work is to create the conditions for transferring these outputs into planning practices to raise awareness regarding the use of landscape in the context of responsible agriculture. In the first part of the thesis, I focus on the development of a methodological procedure for assessing the impact of agricultural management on the landscape, based on which I propose optimization measures to promote ecosystem services and quality of production. The landscape audit itself is based on a detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the current state of farm management in terms of environmental inputs and outputs. The analytical-synthetic evaluation results in the second part of the work, which is the determination of the environmental profile of the farm and the determination of ways of solving the problematic areas in farming. The third part of the thesis is the actual proposal for optimization of the management in terms of inputs used, protection of natural resources, and optimization of the landscape structure.
