Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je překlad a rozbor loutnové školy Thomase Robinsona The Schoole of Musicke, která vyšla v Londýně roku 1603. První část práce stručně nastiňuje hudební život v Anglii, Robinsonovu biografii, přehled dochovaných loutnových traktátů do roku 1603, provádí srovnání traktátů v anglickém prostředí a věnuje se způsobu, jakým je škola napsána. Druhá část se zabývá analýzou prstokladů levé a pravé ruky, které Robinson používá ve skladbě The Queenes good Night. Analýza se zaměřuje na Robinsonovo aplikování vlastních pravidel v praxi. Třetí část obsahuje transliteraci The Schoole of Musicke se zrcadlovým překladem a opoznámkováním.

Abstract:

The main goal of this Bachelor work is a translation and analysis of Thomas Robinson´s lute school, The Schoole of Musicke, which was published in London in 1603. The first part of the work briefly describes a musical life in England, Robinson´s biography and a summary of extant lute sources till 1603. It also includes a comparison of tractates in England and investigates the way how the school was written. The second part deals with analysis of left and righ hand´s fingering, which Robinson used in The Queenes good Night. Analysis focuses on Robinson´s application of his own rule in practise. The third part includes a transliteration of The Schoole of Musicke with mirrored translation and comments.
