Text type the business letter and its application for teaching of professional foreign language

Abstract:

The Master’s diploma thesis deals with the text type business mail (email) and its application for the education purposes. The thesis is divided into two parts, into the theoretical and the practical part. In the first, theoretical part I deal with the theory of technical language and with the technical text types. I also analyse the business mail as a separate text type. The last part deals with the pedagogic-didactical contemplations with the topic education of the technical language. The practical part is worked out as the chapter of a course book, thematic devoted to the fairgrounds surroundings. A student meets in this chapter the text type business email and learns how to use it step by step. He also acquires the typical vocabulary as same as the basic characteristics of the business correspondence.

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá textovým druhem obchodní dopis (email) a jeho použitím pro výukové účely u obchodní němčiny. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části se věnuji teorii odborného jazyka, odborným textovým druhům, analyzuji obchodní dopis jako samostatný textový druh a poslední část je věnována pedagogicko-didaktickým úvahám k tématu výuka odborného jazyka. Praktická část je zpracována jako samostatná kapitola učebnice, tematicky věnovaná prostředí veletrhu. Student se v této kapitole seznamuje s textovým druhem obchodní email a postupně se učí s ním pracovat. Osvojuje si tematizovanou slovní zásobu stejně tak jako základní charakteristiky různých druhů obchodní korespondence.
