The work gives a portrait of Saint Catherine of Siena, the patron of Italy. It is aimed mostly on creating of her personality and on her spiritual and thoughts growth, that was leading her to higher and higher public involvement. Bakalářská práce podává portrét svaté Kateřiny Sienské, patronky Itálie. Zaměřuje se především na utváření její osobnosti a na její duchovní a myšlenkové zrání, které ji postupně vedlo ke stále větší veřejné angažovanosti.
