The interpretation of Vítězslav Novák's songs

Abstract:

Magisterská práce Interpretace písní Vítězslava Nováka se zaměřením na písňový cyklus Pohádka srdce op. 8 je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části se zabývá písňovou tvorbou Vítězslava Nováka, ve které nás provází celoživotní tvorbou písňových cyklů a jednotlivých písní. Uvádí období a někdy i okolnosti vzniku jednotlivých písňových cyklů. První kapitola je zaměřena pouze na jeho folkloristické období, které velmi ovlivnilo jeho tvorbu. Druhá část je zaměřena na interpretaci a rozbor písní cyklu Pohádka srdce op. 8, kde se podrobně věnuje technickým problémům zpěvu a celkovému provedení jednotlivých písní z hlediska zpěváka. V práci jsou také uvedeny životopisy básníků, kteří napsali texty ke zmíněnému cyklu.

Abstract:

Master´s work The interpretation of Vítězslav Novák´s songs with a focus on songs cycle The tale of the heart op. 8 is dividend into two parts. The first part of the song takes us through Vítězslav Novák´s creation of the song cycles and the individual songs. It describes the period and sometimes also the circumstances of the individual song cycles. The first charter is focused only on his folkloristic period, which affected his work very much. The second part concentrates on the interpretation and analysis of the songs of cycle of The tale of the heart op. 8, where the detail of technical problems concerning the vocals and the overall performance of individual singing songs, from the point of view of the singer, are analysed. In the work are also included the biographies of the poets who wrote the lyrics to the mentioned cycle.
