Life context of LSD users

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá zasazením užívání LSD do životního kontextu uživatelů. Užívání je zde ukázáno v souvislosti s proměnami náhledu na sebe a život jako celek, tak, jak je respondenti prezentují. Práce tedy popisuje, jak respondenti konstruují své zážitky s LSD v kontextu vlastního života, a na druhé straně, jak konstruují svou subjektivitu ve vztahu ke svým zážitkům. Výsledná analýza interpretuje setkání s LSD jako zážitek mimo dosavadní struktury chápání světa – dochází tak k momentu zpochybnění struktury, slovy Mary Douglasové k „setkání se s anomálií“, se kterou se systém musí vypořádat.

Abstract:

This work deals with the use of LSD and frames it in the life context of users. Use is shown here in connection with the changes in the view of oneself and life as a whole as presented by the respondents. Thus, the work describes how respondents construct their experiences with LSD in the context of their own lives, and on the other hand, how they construct their subjectivity in relation to their experiences. The resulting analysis interprets the encounter with LSD as an experience outside the current structure of understanding the world - there is a moment of questioning the structure, in Mary Douglas's words, the "encounter with an anomaly" that the system has to deal with
