Abstract:

V této studii se především zkoumaly strategie a praxe řízení logistických rizik společnosti Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A., zkráceně MSC, zejména v kontextu celosvětové pandemie a hrozeb pro námořní bezpečnost. Podrobnou analýzou případu MSC výzkum odhalil, jak společnost snižuje a zvládá negativní dopady náhlých událostí na logistickou dopravu prostřednictvím úpravy lodních tras, optimalizace technologií v dodavatelském řetězci a podpory udržitelného rozvoje zelené logistiky. Studie rovněž zkoumala hlavní logistická rizika, jimž MSC čelí, včetně přerušení dodavatelského řetězce a výzev v námořní bezpečnosti, jako jsou pirátské útoky a ozbrojené konflikty. V práci byl rovněž zdůrazněn význam rostoucí poptávky po automatizačních technologiích, nových požadavcích na provoz přístavů a správu emisí uhlíku, a také význam odolnosti a udržitelnosti dodavatelského řetězce pro logistický rozvoj MSC v post-pandemické éře.

Abstract:

In this study, the strategy and practice of Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. (MSC) in logistics risk management, especially in the context of global pandemic and maritime security threats, are discussed. Through a detailed analysis of MSC's case, the study reveals how the company has reduced and dealt with the negative impact of emergencies on logistics transportation by adjusting routes, optimizing supply chain technology and promoting sustainable development of green logistics. In addition, the study explores key logistics risks facing MSCS, including supply chain disruptions and maritime security challenges such as piracy and armed conflict. In particular, the paper highlights the importance of increased demand for automation technologies, new requirements for port operations and carbon management, and supply chain resilience and sustainability in the development of MSC logistics in the post-pandemic era.
