Study of Y\dindex{2}O\dindex{3} Containing Phosphate and Borophosphate Glasses

Abstract:

Byla připravena skla ve 4 kompozičních řadách: A (50-x)PbO-xY2O3-50P2O5, B (40-x)PbO-xY2O3-60P2O5, C 40PbO-xY2O3-(10-x)B2O3-50P2O5, D 30PbO-xY2O3-(20-x)B2O3-50P2O5. Struktura skel byla studována pomocí 31P a 11B MAS NMR a Ramanovy spektroskopie. Dále byly zjišťovány jejich základní fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti (měrná hmotnost, molární objem, chemická odolnost) v závislosti na obsahu Y2O3. Ke studiu termického chování skel byla využita tepelně-vodivostní DSC, termodilatometrie a žárová mikroskopie. Z termoanalytických křivek byly získány základní parametry charakterizující jejich termické chování (teploty skelné transformace, dilatační teploty měknutí, koeficienty teplotní roztažnosti, krystalizační teploty atp.). Na základě těchto parametrů byla hodnocena termická stabilita skel a mechanismus nukleace v závislosti na obsahu Y2O3.Struktura krystalických fází byla zjišťována pomocí rentgenové difrakční analýzy.

Abstract:

Glasses in four composition series were prepared and studied: A (50-x)PbO-xY2O3-50P2O5, B (40-x)PbO-xY2O3-60P2O5, C 40PbO-xY2O3-(10-x)B2O350P2O5, D 30PbO-xY2O3-(20-x)B2O3-50P2O5. The structure of glasses was determined using 31P and 11B MAS NMR and Raman spectroscopy. Their basic physico-chemical properties (density, molar volume, chemical durability) were studied in dependence of Y2O3 content. Thermal behavior of glasses was studied using DSC,thermodilatometry and heating microscopy. The basic parameters characterising their thermal behavior were glass transition, expansion coefficient, crystallization temperatures etc. With DSC, nucleation mechanism was also studied. The structure of crystalline phases was determined using X-ray diffraction analysis.
