Abstract:

Mária Klimiková, PhD. Bratislava, April 2010 Number of pages: The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to provide a general description of passive banking operations. The work describes passive as well as active banking operations, their structure and their role. Moreover, there is a definition of various deposit types used by the bank to finance its daily operations. The final part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of factors which influenced the bank passive accounts from the end of 2008 such as the introduction of euro, the legislative act related to system of payments, innovations in the field of the bank services and the proposal on the introduction of the basic bank product. The thesis includes also the description of characteristic of several chosen banks as well as the service bundles offered by the banks to their clients. Additionally, it underlines the importance of the banking deposits.

Ing. Mária Klimiková, PhD. Bratislava, apríl 2010 Počet strán: Bakalárska práca je zameraná na charakteristiku pasívnych bankových operácií vo všeobecnosti. V práci sú charakterizované pasívne ako aj aktívne operácie, ich úloha, štruktúra. Definované sú druhy vkladov, prostredníctvom ktorých banka získava zdroje pre svoju činnosť. Posledná časť bakalárskej práce je zameraná na analýzu faktorov, ktoré ovplyvnili pasíva bánk od konca roka 2008, prijatie eura, zákon o platobných službách, inovácie v oblasti bankových služieb, návrh na zavedenie základného bankového produktu. Bakalárska práca zahŕňa krátku charakteristiku vybraných bánk, ako aj balíky služieb, ktoré banky poskytujú svojim klientom a poukazuje na dôležitosť vkladov.
