The participation of people without a home to solve homlessness

Abstract:

Práce je teoretická a jejím cílem je popsat koncept participace a bezdomovectví a vymezit způsoby řešení bezdomovectví poskytujícím a uschopňujícím přístupem. Za cíl si také kladu odpovědět na otázku "Jaké jsou příležitosti a rizika těchto perspektiv pro řešení bezdomovectví?" První kapitola práce je zaměřena na vymezení pojmů participace, moc a zplnomocnění. V následující kapitole je definován koncept bezdomovectví a osob, které se s touto problematikou potýkají. Třetí kapitola popisuje působení sociální práce s lidmi bez domova a konkrétní typy poskytovaných sociálních služeb v České republice. Poslední kapitola je věnována možnostem řešení bezdomovectví prostřednictvím poskytujícího a uschopňujícího přístupu. V této kapitole najdeme také odpověď na výše položenou otázku.

Abstract:

This thesis is theoretical and its aim is to describe the concept of participation and homelessness and to define any possible ways of solutions through the providable attitude. Another aim of mine is to answer the question "What are the opportunities and risks of the both of these perspectives for the solution of homelessness?" The first chapter of this work is focused on defining participation, power and empowerment. In the next chapter is defined the concept of homelessness and the individuals who deal with this problem. The third chapter describes the influence of social work on homeless people and shows the concrete types of social services in the Czech republic. The last chapter is mainly focused on specific ways of solutions through the providable and capacitating attitude. We can also find here the answer for the question I mentioned above.
