The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on hotel Chateau Gbeľany ****

Abstract:

The aim of diploma thesis on topic The impact of Covid-19 pandemic on hotel Château Gbeľany**** is to identify the impact of the pandemic on selected business entity and to propose solutions that will improve the current situation. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on theoretical backgound of crisis management and characteristics of the pandemic caused by Covid-19 disease. In this part is also briefly described selected company, offered services, clientele of the hotel and organizational structure. The practical part is focused on analysis of the impact of pandemic on the hotel Château Gbeľany****, describtion ofchanges in the structure of the hotel clientele and the impact on the economic side of the company. The change in organizational structure of the hotel and the way of communication during a crisis is also described. Results of the work are recommendations proposed to improve the current situation. The proposals concern changes in customer orientation and the offer of services.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce na tému Vplyv pandémie Covid-19 na hotel Château Gbeľany**** je identifikácia dopadu pandémie na vybraný podnikateľský subjekt a návrh riešení, ktoré povedú ku zlepšeniu súčasného stavu. Teoretická časť práce je zameraná na teoretické východiská krízového riadenia a charakteristiky pandémie spôsobenej ochorením Covid-19. V tejto časti je taktiež stručne popísaný vybraný podnik, ponúkané služby, klientela hotela a organizačná štruktúra. Praktická časť obsahuje analýzu vplyvu pandémie na hotel Château Gbeľany****, je popísaná zmena v štruktúre klientely hotela a dopady na ekonomickú stránku podniku. Tiež je popísaná zmena v organizačnej štruktúre hotela a spôsob komunikácie počas krízovej situácie. Na základe zistených informácií sú navrhnuté odporúčaniu ku zlepšeniu súčasného stavu. Návrhy sa týkajú zmien v orientácii na vybranú skupinu zákazníkov a ponuky služieb.
