Evaluation of the primary issue of shares in Coinbase Global, Inc.

Abstract:

The objective of the thesis "Evaluation of the Primary Issue of Shares of Coinbase Global, Inc." is to formulate an investment recommendation based on selected methods and models of fundamental analysis. The theoretical part includes a basic introduction to the issue of primary stock issues, two technical studies on direct listing of the stock, and the introduction of mathematical models to help calculate intrinsic value. The empirical part focuses on the evaluation of the company, especially the industry in which it operates, the company's management, business model and risk factors, and the calculation of fundamental value. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the knowledge gained and the formulation of an investment recommendation, which is compared with professional analysts.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce „zhodnotenie primárnej emisie akcií spoločnosti Coinbase Global, Inc.“ je formulovať investičné odporúčanie na základe vybraných metód a modelov fundamentálnej analýzy. Teoretická časť obsahuje základné uvedenie do problematiky primárnych emisií akcií, dve odborné štúdie na priame zalistovanie na burzu a predstavenie matematických modelov, ktoré pomôžu vypočítať vnútornú hodnotu. Empirická časť je zameraná na zhodnotenie spoločnosti, hlavne na odvetvie v ktorom podniká, manažment spoločnosti, biznis model a rizikové faktory a výpočet fundamentálnej hodnoty. V závere práce je zhodnotenie získaných poznatkov a formulovanie investičného odporúčania, ktoré je porovnané s profesionálnymi analytikmi.
