Abstract:

Abstrakt Cílem bakalářské práce bylo napsat teoretickou část o pojmu etologie, typických projevech koní plemene český teplokrevník, způsobu komunikace, sexuálním, mateřském a sociálním chování, jejich smyslech a mnoho dalších. V praktické části byl cílem etogram vybraných skupin koní v Jezdeckém areálu HobbyLindt v Moravských Knínicích a následné vyhodnocení jejich projevů. Výsledkem etologického pozorování je, že hříbě s matkou, kteří byli první týdny po porodu v samostatném výběhu trávili své dny především ležením, pozorováním, nebo sáním mléka. Po necelém měsíci, kdy bylo hříbě poprvé v kontaktu s jiným koněm převládalo sociální chování, pozorování a pasení se. Skupina 9 koní, kde bylo i hříbě s matkou, trávili přes 50 % času pasením se a pozorováním. Poslední skupina 5 koní byla oproti těmto zmíněným v ohradě bez pastevního porostu, k dispozici měli po celý den balík sena. Většinu času přijímali krmivo, chodili nebo projevovali sociální chování. Všichni pozorovaní koně se projevovali úměrně k tomu, kde byli ustájeni nebo svému věku. Nebylo překvapivým výsledkem, že skupina, která byla celoročně na pastvě trávila větší část dne příjmem krmiva, oproti té v ohradě. V každé skupině byla určitá hierarchie, ovšem bez větších známek agresivního chování.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to write a theoretical part about the concept of ethology, typical manifestations of the Czech Warmblood horse breed, the way of communication, sexual, maternal and social behaviour, their senses and many others. In the practical part, the aim was the ethogram of selected groups of horses in the HobbyLindt Equestrian Complex in Moravské Knínice and subsequent evaluation of their manifestations. As a result of the ethological observation, the foal and mother who were in separate enclosures for the first weeks after birth spent their days primarily lying down, watching, or sucking milk. After less than a month, when the foal was in contact with another horse for the first time, social behaviour, observation and grazing predominated. The group of 9 horses, which included the foal and its mother, spent over 50% of their time grazing and observing. The last group of 5 horses was in a paddock with no grazing vegetation compared to the aforementioned groups, with a bale of hay available throughout the day. Most of the time they were accepting feed, walking or showing social behaviour. All horses observed exhibited behaviors proportional to where they were stabled or their age. It was not a surprising result that the group that was on pasture year-round spent a greater proportion of the day receiving feed compared to the group in the paddock. There was some hierarchy within each group, but no major signs of aggression.
