The historic landscape archeology in the southwestern region of Bohemia (Nepomuk)

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na sledování dynamiky vývoje a proměny středověké a novověké kulturní krajiny v oblasti Nepomucka. V práci jsou rozebírány základní otázky studia z oblasti historické krajinné a sídelní archeologie na základě rozboru a vyhodnocení písemných, kartografických, archeologických a stavebně-historických pramenů. Řeší se transformace a stabilizace sídelní sítě, struktura vesnického osídlení a proměny land-use, vývoje pozemkových držeb, klášterního a vrchnostenského velkostatku a farní organizace. V zalesněných částech území bylo provedeno vyhodnocení dat z leteckého laserového skenování a na vybraných úsecích bude vhodně doplněn povrchový průzkum. Výsledkem práce jsou rekonstrukční mapy v geografických informačních systémech, kde je demonstrována proměna krajiny a osídlení v jednotlivých časových úsecích středověku až novověku.

Abstract:

The work is focused on monitoring the dynamics of development and transformation of medieval and modern cultural landscape of Nepomuk. The thesis analyzes the basic issues of study in the field of historical landscape and settlement archeology based on the analysis and evaluation of written, cartographic, archaeological and construction-historical sources. The transformation and stabilization of the settlement network, the structure of the village settlement and the land-use transformation, the development of the land holdings, the monastery and the highland manor and the parish organization are solved. In the wooded parts of the area, aero laser scanning data was evaluated, and surface surveys would be suitably supplemented on selected sections. The result of the work is the reconstruction maps in geographic information systems, where the landscape and settlement changes are demonstrated in individual time periods of the medieval and modern age.
