Abstract:

Cílem mé magisterské práce je zaměřit se detailněji s tvorbou zajímavého a dříve mně málo známého dramatika Michela de Ghelderoda a písemně analyzovat své výtvarné řešení kostýmů jeho hry Slečna Jairová. Autorova tvorba sestává z groteskních dramat-podobenství, často na biblická témata nebo z historie středověké Evropy. Je naplněná obrazy kostlivců, oslav masopustu, cirkusovou klauniádou, ale i beznadějnou apokalyptickou náladou, je totiž přímo ovlivněna nejlepší tradicí vlámského umění a jeho nejpřednějšími představiteli od Hieronymа Bosche a Pietera Brueghela až po Jamese Ensora. Ghelderodova hru Slečna Jairová můžeme označit jako groteskní hororové mystérium. Než se začnu zabývat hrou Slečna Jairová a koncepcí svého kostýmního řešení této hry, chci rozebrat některé aspekty středověkého náboženského divadla, vysvětlit pojem ikonografie a ikonografická metoda a popsat odraz křesťanské ikonografie v divadelním kostýmu té doby.Část své magisterské práce budu věnovat některým momentů ze života belgického dramatika Michela de Ghelderoda. Dále budu podrobněji analyzovat jeho hru Slečna Jairová, její filozofickou a morální rovinu, děj, postavy a jejich úlohu ve hře - rovněž v různých inscenacích, světových i českých. Závěr druhé části mé práce tvoří koncepce mého kostýmního řešení hry, kde popisuji kostýmní návrhy každé postavy a to, co ve hře reprezentují. Pojednám zde také o své práci na realizaci masek a kostýmů. Kromě toho bych chtěla vysvětlit, co mě ovlivnilo, co inspirovalo a jaká je moje koncepce celkového kostýmního řešení hry Slečna Jairová.

Abstract:

The aim of my master's thesis is to get acquainted in more detail with the work of an interesting and formerly little-known playwright like Michel de Ghelderode, and to write my costume design in his play Mademoiselle Jaïre (1934). The author's work consists of grotesque dramatic parables, often on biblical themes or the history of medieval Europe. Filled with skeletons, carnival festivities, circus clowns, and hopeless apocalyptic moods, it is directly influenced by the best traditions of Flemish art and its leading representatives from Hieronymus Bosch and Peter Bruegel to James Ensor. Gelderod's play Mademoiselle Jaïre is a grotesque mystery of horror. Before I begin to study Miss Geir's play and the costume design concept of the play, I want to discuss some aspects of medieval religious theatre, explain the concept of iconography and iconography and describe the reflection of Christian iconography in the theatrical costume of the time.Part of my master's thesis will be devoted to some moments from the writer's life of the Belgian playwright Michel de Ghelderod. I will further analyze Michel de Ghelderod's play Mademoiselle Jaïre, her philosophical and moral idea, her storyline, characters and their role in the game; also by various performances in various world and Czech productions. The conclusion of the second part is the concept of my costume design of the play Mademoiselle Jaïre, where I describe the individual costume designs of each character, what they represent in the play.The conclusion of the second part is the conception of my costume solution Mademoiselle Jaïre. Furthermore, there will be a description of the individual images of each character of the play, what they represent, and the process of working on the implementation of masks and costumes. Besides, I would like to explain what influenced me, what inspired me, what genres I most accentuated and what concepts I wanted to achieve in my realization.
