A Critical Inquiry in Aristotle's Criticism of Plato's Good
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je kriticky zhodnotit Aristotelovy argumenty proti Platónově ideji Dobra a posoudit korektnost těchto argumentů. Předmětem zkoumání budou mj. Aristotelovy východiska a předpoklady, z nichž postupuje, či hlediska, z jakých Platóna kritizuje. Otázka, na kterou tato práce odpovídá, zní: Jsou všechny Aristotelovy argumenty proti ideji Dobra, které tato práce posuzuje, korektní?
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to critically inquire Aristotle's arguments against Plato's idea of good and to assess the correctness of these arguments. The subjects of the examination are i.a. Aristotle's fundaments and hypotheses, which he proceeds from, and perspectives, from which he criticises Plato.
