Abstract:

V práci řešíme tři problémy. První z nich pojednává o kladných řešení symetrické tříčlenné diferenční rovnice stupně 2n. Tuto rovnici ztotožníme s operátorem daným přirozeným způsobem nekonečnou symetrickou maticí a pomocí této matice a techniky diagonálních minorů ukážeme, že tato rovnice má kladné řešení právě tehdy, když je nekonečná matice daná touto rovnicí nezáporně definitní. Dále studujeme Sturm-Liouvilleovu rovnici řádu 2n a k ní přidružený maticový operátor daný nekonečnou symetrickou pásovou maticí. Užitím vztahu mezi touto rovnicí a tzv. lineárním hamiltonovským systémem a konceptu recesivního systému řešení popíšeme definiční obor friedrichovského rozšíření maticového operátoru přidruženého k této rovnici a zavedeme p-kritické operátory a ukážeme, že libovolně malá (v jistém smyslu) záporná perturbace nezáporného kritického operátoru vede k operátoru, který již není nezáporný.

Abstract:

In the thesis, we solve three problems. The first one deals with positive solutions of symmetric three-term 2n-order difference equation. We associate this equation with an operator given in the natural way by infinite symmetric matrix and using this matrix and the technique of diagonal minors we show that this equation possesses a positive solution if and only if the infinite symmetric matrix associated with this equation is non-negative definite. Next, we study the Sturm-Liouville equation of the 2n-order and associated matrix operator given by an infinite symmetric banded matrix. Using the relationship of this equation to the so-called linear Hamiltonian systems and the concept of the recessive system of solutions, we describe the domain of the Friedrichs extension of the matrix operator associated to this equation and we introduce the p-critical operators and we show that arbitrarily small (in a certain sense) negative perturbation of a non-negative critical operator leads to an operator which is no longer non-negative.
