Application of technical analysis for trading with cryptocurrencies

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Aplikace technické analýzy pro obchodování s kryptoměnami“ je analýza vybraných indikátorů technické analýzy. Každý indikátor má své charakteristické vlastnosti a rozdílné signály pro vstupy do obchodů. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje nejen na představení základních informací ohledně kryptoměn, a indikátorů technické analýzy, ale zejména na vytvoření obchodního systému pomocí provedeného manuálního backtestingu. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s hlavními kryptoměnami a indikátory technické analýzy, které jsou aplikovány do grafů vybraných kryptoměn a nalezení vhodného, ideálně ziskového, obchodního systému. Data jsou získána z dostupných internetových zdrojů na základě provedené analýzy vývoje cen v grafů kryptoměn spolu s technickými indikátory. Získané hodnoty jsou zpracovány v programu MS Excel, kde jsou využity základní matematické a logické funkce. Data jsou vyhodnocena v rámci obchodního systému a nalezení optimální varianty.

Abstract:

The subject of the thesis "Application of Technical Analysis for Trading with Cryptocurrencies" is the analysis of selected indicators of technical analysis. Each indicator has its characteristics and various signals for entry into trades. The diploma thesis focuses not only on the diploma thesis on the introduction of basic information about cryptocurrencies and indicators of technical analysis but above all on creating a business system using manual back-testing.This work aims to familiarize the reader with the main cryptocurrencies and the technical analysis indicators, which are applied to the graphs of selected cryptocurrencies and finding a suitable, ideally advantageous, trading system. The data are obtained from the available internet sources based on the analysis of the price development in the cryptocurrency graph together with the technical indicators. The received values are processed in MS Excel, where basic mathematical and logical functions are used. The data is evaluated within the business system, and the optimal option is found.
