Opinions of Headteachers of Selected Secondary Vocational Schools on Styles of Management Work

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce se zabývá otázkou způsobu řízení středních škol. Cílem teoretické části závěrečné práce je vymezení základních pojmů v oblasti vedení a řízení, jsou zde popsány jednotlivé styly řídící práce ředitele střední odborné školy se zaměřením na jejich klady a zápory. V praktické části závěrečné práce jsou popsány názory a zkušenosti konkrétních ředitelů vybraných středních škol v Krnově a Opavě získané formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaké mají ředitelé názory a osobní zkušenosti se styly řídící práce a jaké formy řídící práce ředitelé středních škol nejčastěji používají s ohledem na personální práci, kontrolní a hodnotící činnost.

Abstract:

The final thesis deals with the question of the way of management of secondary schools. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to define the basic concepts of leadership and management, there are described different styles of management work focusing on their pros and cons. In the practical part of the thesis there are described opinions and experiences of the particular headmasters of selected secondary schools in Krnov and Opava obtained through semi-structured interviews. The aim was to find out what directors have opinions and personal experience with styles of managerial work and what forms of managerial work are most often used by headmasters with regard to personnel work, control and evaluation activities.
