Production of aids in mathematics. The work of Marie Špalková in the geometric curriculum.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Výroba pomůcek do matematiky. Dílo Marie Špalkové v geometrickém učivu.“ se zabývá výrobou pomůcek do geometrie a popisem geometrického učiva, ve kterém tyto pomůcky použijeme. Všechny pomůcky jsou vyrobeny podle vzoru Marie Špalkové. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části: teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je založena na odborné literatuře a zaměřena na základní definice a matematické věty v geometrickém učivu jako je například Pythagorova věta, trojúhelníková nerovnost, Thaletova věta a úhly. Teoretická část také zahrnuje důkazy matematických vět a zařazení do Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání. Praktická část popisuje devět pomůcek, které můžeme využít v geometrii. Tyto pomůcky korespondují s matematickými definicemi a větami v teoretické části. Kromě popisu samotných pomůcek je u každé z nich uveden také postup výroby těchto pomůcek, použité materiály, cena za použitý materiál a možné alternativy. Práce má dva hlavní cíle. Prvním z nich je popis pomůcek od Marie Špalkové a jejich výroba. Druhým cílem je zařazení těchto pomůcek do geometrického učiva.

Abstract:

The master 's thesis „Production of aids in Mathematics. The work of Marie Špalková in the geometric curriculum.” deals with the production of aids for the geometric curriculum in mathematics and the description of geometric curriculum where we can use these aids. All of the aids are produced in accordance with the image of Marie Špalková. The whole work is divided into two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on specialized literature and focused on general definitions and mathematical theorems of geometric curriculum such as The Pythagorean theorem, triangle inequality, Thales´s theorem, angles and more. The theoretical part also includes the proofs of mathematical theorems and a comparison with Framework Education Programme (for Elementary Education). The practical part includes 9 aids that we can use in geometry. These aids correspond with general definitions and mathematical theorems in the theoretical part. All descriptions of the aids include the description of production, used materials, costs and possible alternatives. The work has two main objectives. The first of them is the description of the works of Marie Špalková and their production. The second is the inclusion of these aids into the geometric curriculum.
