Boeing on Twitter network - analysis using Orange and LISp-Miner tools

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá analytikou příspěvků společnosti Boeing získaných ze sociální sítě Twitter. Cílem je demonstrovat pokročilé metody dolování znalostí z dat a jejich praktické uplatnění v oblasti marketingu. Dílčí cíl se pak zakládá na porovnání a kooperativním využití dvou univerzitních nástrojů Orange a LISp-Miner a jejich metod. K analýze dat jsou využity klasifikační algoritmy (logistické regrese, neuronové sítě), dále algoritmy na sentiment a emotion analýzu. Ve druhé fázi jsou data zpracovávána metodou GUHA v rámci systému LISp-Miner. Práce poukázala na marketingově zajímavá zjištění kdy a jak se vyplatí příspěvky publikovat. Mimo to byla ukázána výhodnost využití obou softwarů a jejich metod, které se vhodně doplňují.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with analytics of Boeing posts on Twitter social network. The goal is to demonstrate advanced methods of datamining and their practical application in a marketing area. The partial goal is based on a comparison and on a cooperative use of two academic tools Orange and LISp-Miner with their methods. The analysis uses classification algorithms (logistic regressions, neural networks) and algorithms for sentiment and emotional analysis. In the second phase, the data is handled by the GUHA method within the LISp-Miner system. The work has highlighted the marketing findings of when and how it is worth publishing. In addition, the advantage of using both software and their methods, which suitably complement each other, was shown.
