Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou euthanasie. Předkládá exkurs do historie euthanasie a vysvětluje význam jednotlivých pojmů, které s tímto tématem souvisejí. Dále práce ukazuje přístup k řešení otázek spojených se závěrečnou fází života ve vybraných zemích světa a pojednává o snahách zahrnout euthanasii do právního řádu České republiky. Doplňující výzkum mapuje postoje veřejnosti k rozebírané problematice. Ukazuje, že informovanost veřejnosti není dostatečná a upozorňuje na potřebu zvýšení její objektivity, k čemuž by mohla předkládaná práce přispět.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of euthanasia. It shows a history of euthanasia and explains meaning of particular concepts, which are closely connected to this topic. The work also points out an attitude towards solving questions concerning the last phase of life in chosen countries and deals with efforts to include euthanasia into a law system in the Czech Republic. The supplemental research maps out a public attitude towards the problem. It shows that the public knowledge is not adequate and draws attention to the rise of its objectivity, to which this work should contribute.
