Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá studiem lidského vlasu pomocí skenovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM). V teoretické části nastiňuje základy mikroskopie, její typy a principy a biologický úvod do struktury a vlastností lidského vlasu. V praktické části zkoumá a vyhodnocuje tloušťku a vzhled vlasu v závislosti na stárnutí nositele a jeho pohlaví. Podařilo se prokázat, že vlasy s největším průměrem mají lidé ve věku 20–30 let, že muži mají větší průměr vlasu než ženy, a také že tloušťka evropského vlasu je nižší než u mongoloidních jedinců v korejské studii. Nezjistili jsme žádnou korelaci mezi zbarvením vlasu a jeho tloušťkou. Potvrdili jsme, že průměrná délka keratinových lišt je nižší u žen a u starších jedinců.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is concerned with studying of human hair using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In the theoretical part it outlines the basics of microscopy, its types and principles and biological introduction to the structure and properties of human hair. In the practical part it examines and evaluates the thickness and appearance of hair depending on ageing of the bearer and the sex. It was proved successfully that hairs of the longest diameter belong to people aged 20–30 years, that men has longer diameter than women, and that the thickness of European hair is lower than of Mongoloid individuals in the Korean study. We did not find out any correlation between hair colour and its thickness. We confirmed that mean scale length is lower for women and older individuals.
