Reproductive characteristics of rabbits of the Slovakian grey-blue rex breed

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci na téma „Reprodukční vlastnosti králíků plemene Rex slovenský sivomodrý“ je popsán chov plemene určeného na výstavní účely. Úvodní část je věnována domestikaci, historii a významu chovu králíků. Ve druhé části se práce zaobírá reprodukcí, pohlavním aparátem samce a samice, technikou páření, březostí, porodem a jeho komplikacemi. Práce se také zaměřuje na samotnou technologii chovu zahrnující ustájení a výživu králíků. Pozornost je zaměřena především na reprodukční ukazatele a vlastnosti plemene Rex slovenský sivomodrý. Vybraný existující chov byl popsán a zhodnocen celkový a průměrný počet narozených a odchovaných mláďat od samic plemene Rex slovenský sivomodrý. Dále ztráty narozených mláďat, poměr pohlaví odchovaných mláďat, zabřezávání a délku březosti. Chov autorky byl porovnáván s chovem od jiného chovatele, který chová Rexe slovenské sivomodré ve stejných podmínkách jako chov autorky. Nejvyšší průměr narozených a odchovaných mláďat byl ve vlastním chovu autorky. Pohlavní zastoupení ve vlastním chovu bylo za sledované období vyrovnané. V druhém chovu převládala početnost samic. Průměrná délka březostí ve sledovaném chovu vyšla 30,725 dní a v druhém chovu 30,925 dní. Nejkratší březost trvala 28 dní a nejdelší 33 dní.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on "Reproductive characteristics of rabbits of the Slovakian grey-blue rex breed" describes the breeding of the breed intended for exhibition purposes. The introductory part is devoted to domestication, history and importance of rabbit breeding. The second part of the work deals with reproduction, sexual apparatus of male and female, mating technique, pregnancy, parturition and its complications. The thesis also focuses on the actual breeding technology including housing and nutrition of rabbits. Attention is focused mainly on reproductive parameters and characteristics of the Slovakian grey-blue rex breed. The selected existing breeding was described and the total and average number of born and reared chicks from females of the Rex slovakian grey-blue breed was evaluated. In addition, losses of born pups, sex ratio of reared pups, farrowing and length of gestation. The author's breeding was compared with the breeding of another breeder who breeds Rex Slovakian grey-blue in the same conditions as the author's breeding. The highest average of pups born and reared was in the author's own breeding. The sex distribution in her own breeding was balanced over the period under study. In the second breeding, the number of females was predominant. The average length of gestation in the breed under study was 30.725 days and in the second breed 30.925 days. The shortest gestation lasted 28 days and the longest 33 days.
