Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou syndromu suchého oka a jeho výskytem v diabetické populaci. V úvodu teoretické části je stručně popsána anatomie očních struktur souvisejících s fungováním slzného filmu a fyziologie slzného systému. This master´s thesis deals with the problems of the dry eye syndrome and its presence in diabetic population. The beginning of the theoretical part of the thesis briefly describes the anatomy of the ocular structures related to the functioning of the tear film and the physiology of the lacrimal system.
