Napoleon's Campaign in Egypt
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza francouzská expedice do Egypta, ke které došlo v letech 1798-1801. Téma je zaměřeno především na roli Napoleona Bonaparta a dopad jeho tažení na další vývoj Egypta. Je zde objasněno, proč bylo vybráno tažení právě do této orientální země a co mu předcházelo. Práce popisuje průběh a význam celé expedice.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the Egyptian campaign, which ran in years 1798-1801. The work is mainly focused on the role of Napoleon Bonaparte and French people and their relationship with transformation of Egypt. The Work explained why the campaign was elected into this oriental country. This thesis describes the process and importance of the whole expedition.
