Polished stone industry from Neolithic site Popůvky, Brno-venkov district
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá vyhodnocením souboru broušené kamenné industrie ze známé neolitické lokality Popůvky, okr. Brno-venkov. Soubor byl vyhodnocen na základě využitých surovin, fází existence artefaktů, rozměrů a hmotnosti, dochovalosti, úpravy povrchu, morfotypologie, funkce artefaktů i v čase a prostoru lokality. Rovněž bylo provedeno srovnání s dalšími lokalitami obdobného časového úseku.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis presents evaluation of polished stone tools from the Neolithic settlement in Popůvky, distr. Brno-venkov. The collection of polished stone tools was evaluated in terms of raw materials, phases of artefact existence, dimensions and weight, preservation, surface treatment, morphotypology, function of artefacts and both in time and space dimension.
