Strategic analysis of the selected company

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je strategická analýza podniku Kazanorgsintez. Cílem této práce je zhodnocení vybrané společností pomocí strategické analýzy a návrh doporučení pro optimalizace procesů firmy. Teoretická část práce rozebírá problematiku řízení strategického procesu z hlediska ovlivňování vnitřních a vnějších faktorů, dále popisuje externí a interní analýzu podniku, a v závěru teoretické části jsou popsány strategie. V praktické části je analyzován podnik Kazanorgsintez. Nejprve jsou popsány vize a mise podniku. Tato část využívá poznatky z teoretické části k analýze jeho externích faktorů. Analýza je provedena pomocí PESTEL analýzy a Porterova modelu pěti sil, a interních faktorů pomocí finanční analýzy, analýzy vnitřních pod-nikových zdrojů. Všechny získané a zjištěné poznatky jsou sumarizovány a vyhodnoceny ve SWOT analýze. Na základě SWOT analýzy jsou poté navrženy strategie a opatření.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis is the strategic analysis of Kazanorgsintez PAO (Public Joint-Stock Company). The aim of this work is to evaluate the company by means of strategic analysis, searching for the ways of the company performance optimization. The theoretical part of the thesis raises problems of the strategic process management in the context of internal and external factors impact; it describes external and internal business analysis; in the end of the theoretical part the strategies are described. In the practical part, operations of the Kazanorgsintez have been analyzed. First, corporate visions, missions and values are described. This part involves theoretical aspects of external factors described in the first part. The analysis is carried out using PESTEL analysis and Porter's five forces analysis, as well as internal factors analysis by means of financial analysis and resource-based analysis. All the acquired and reviewed findings are summarized and evaluated in the SWOT analysis. Based on the SWOT analysis, strategies are then proposed.
