BUCHTOVÁ, Eva. Problematika kulturního života vozíčkářů v městě Brně: bakalářská práce. Brno: Masarykova univerzita, Fakulta pedagogická, Katedra speciální pedagogiky, 2009. 68 l., 5 l. příl. Vedoucí bakalářské práce Ilona Fialová. Bakalářská práce „Problematika kulturního života vozíčkářů v městě Brně“ se zabývá vztahem vozíčkářů ke kultuře a jejich možnostmi kulturního vyžití. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První tři kapitoly tvoří teoretická část a jsou zpracovány na základě odborné literatury. První kapitola obsahuje terminologické vymezení tělesného postižení a objasňuje jeho vliv na samostatný pohyb a osobnost jedince a některá specifika osob upoutaných na vozík. Další dvě kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na vzdělávání, od rané péče až po profesní přípravu, a na problematiku vozíčkářů v kontextu historického vývoje, v oblasti bariér a kvality života. Ve třetí kapitole jsou také nastíněny možnosti kulturního vyžití v Brně. Čtvrtou kapitolu tvoří praktická část – kvalitativní výzkum. Kapitola obsahuje hlavní cíl, dílčí cíle a metodologii výzkumu, charakterizuje výzkumný soubor apod. Nejdůležitější část tvoří dvě kasuistiky a pozorování dospělých dívek upoutaných na vozík. Práce má zejména poukázat na to, jaké komplikace mohou nastat, má-li vozíčkář o kulturu zájem.

The Bachelor's thesis „The issue of cultural life of Wheelchair Users in the city of Brno“ deals with how wheelchair users relate to culture and cultural activities. The work is divided into four chapters. The first three chapters constitute the theoretical section and are processed on the basis of scientific literature. The first chapter contains the terminological definition of disability and explains its impact on the independent movement and personality of individuals and some specific persons confined on a wheelchair. The next two chapters focus on education - from early care to professional integration - and the issue of wheelchair users in the context of historical development, in the field of barriers, and the quality of life. The third chapter also outlines the possibilities of cultural life in Brno. The fourth chapter consists of the practical section - qualitative research. The chapter sets out the main goal, intermediate objectives and the research methodology, characterized by research data, etc. The most important part consists of two case studies and observations of adult girls confined in a wheelchair. The work particularly points out the complications that may occur if wheelchair users profess interest in culture.
