Abstract:
The work maps the tendencies of colour idioms. These are idioms which consist of a colour lexeme and at least one more lexeme. It also attempts to categorize colour idioms semantically. Some published conclusions about idioms are tested on colour idioms, whether they apply. Práce se zabývá mapováním tendencí idiomů, které se skládají z jednoho slova, kterým je konkrétní barva a dalšího nejméně jednoho slova. Dále kategorizací idiomů do semantických kategorií. Některé publikované tendence jsou v této práci ověřovány, zda-li platí na tento druh idiomů.
