Abstract:

Tato práce se věnuje analýze politiky FEDu během administrativy G. W. Bushe. Text je rozdělen do čtyř hlavních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje historii FEDu, jeho organizační strukturu a jednotlivé orgány. Druhá kapitola je věnována jednotlivým členům Rady guvernérů, a vlivu politické příslušnosti na jejich rozhodování. Třetí kapitola popisuje prvních šest let z funkčního období G. W. Bushe. Poslední, čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na krizové roky 2007 a 2008. Cílem práce je analýza jednotlivých kroků FEDu, které byly provedeny během administrativy G. W. Bushe.

Abstract:

This thesis is devoted to the FED policy analysis during G. W. Bush administration. Text is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter describes history of the FED, its organizational structure and individual authorities. The second chapter is devoted to individual members of the Board of Governors and the influence of political affiliation on their decisions. The third chapter describes the first six years of the term of G. W. Bush. Last, the fourth chapter focuses on the critical years 2007 and 2008. The overall aim of the thesis is to analyze the individual steps of the FED, which were performed during the G. W. Bush administration.
