Abstract:

Záměrem této diplomové práce nazvané „Výuka profesně zaměřené angličtiny na střední textilní škole“ je poskytnout studentům kompletní sérii 10 lekcí, které jim umožní si rozšířit své znalosti obecné angličtiny o slovní zásobu týkající se jejich profesního zaměření, tzn.odívání, módu a textilnictví, přestože v současnosti většina studentů dosahuje při ukončení studia nanejvýše úrovně A2 podle Společného evropského referenčního rámce. Tato práce také usiluje o poskytnutí přehledu podmínek a předpokladů, které je třeba brát na zřetel, aby vývoj a uplatnění kurzu profesně zaměřené angličtiny mohl být úspěšný.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis called “Teaching ESP at Secondary Textile School” is to provide students with a ready-made series of 10 lessons that would allow them to broaden their general English knowledge with the vocabulary of their professional specialisation, that is clothing, fashion and textile, despite the fact that at the moment the knowledge of most of them after graduation is at the top of A2 level according to the CEFR. This work also attempts to provide an overview of conditions and considerations crucial to the successful development and implementation of an ESP course.
