Atlas of paintings on the paper and their damage.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá neinvazivním průzkumem uměleckých děl na papírových podložkách. Malby byly zkoumány pouhým okem, fotografovány ve viditelném, bočním razantním, UV světle a dokumentovány stereomikroskopem. Náplní práce byl průzkum akvarelových, kvašových, temperových, a olejových uměleckých děl. Podle historických receptů byly připraveny barvy, které byly naneseny na vybrané papíry s odlišnou gramáží a složením.

Abstract:

The bachelor work deals with a non-invasive exploration of artworks on paper supports. Paintings were examined with the naked eye, photographed in visible, side vigorous, UV light, and documented by stereomicroscope. Scope of the work was exploration of watercolour, gouache, tempera, and oil artworks. According to historical recipes colours were prepared and they were applied on paper varying in grammage and composition.
