This bachelor thesis focuses on the Native Americans living on the reservations located in North Dakota and the related environmental issues. It consists of three main interconnected parts: historical, cultural, and ecological. The cultural part is aimed at the stereotypes of Native Americans and degradation of the cultural values. Tato bakalářská práce se soustřeďuje na americké indiány žijící v rezervacích, které se nachází v Severní Dakotě, a s tím spojenou environmentální problematiku. Práce se skládá ze tří vzájemně souvisejících částí: historické, kulturní a ekologické. Kulturní část se zaměřuje na stereotypy amerických indiánů a znehodnocení kulturních hodnot.
