The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate open-source software for radar image processing. For this purpose have been chosen freely available software SNAP and PolSARpro from ESA and for comparison, also a commercial software Geomatica from PCI Geomatics. Hlavným účelom tejto práce je zhodnotenie voľne dostupných softvérov pre spracovanie radarových dát. Na tento účel sú vybrané voľne dostupné softvéry SNAP a PolSARpro od spoločnosti ESA a pre porovnanie aj komerčný softvér Geomatica od spoločnosti PCI Geomatics.
