Diplomová práce zpracovává výsledky terénního výzkumu včelařů na Plzeňsku. V teoretické části je popsána historie včelaření, opylovací činnost a význam chovu včely medonosné. V praktické části diplomové práce se věnuji významu tradice, motivace, ekonomickému i neekonomickému rozměru včelaření a reflexi změn, kterými prochází i příroda.
