Evaluation of the effectiveness of fungi of the genus Trichoderma on the elimination of fungal pathogens of the GTD complex

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce „Hodnocení účinnosti hub rodu Trichoderma k eliminaci houbových patogenů komplexu GTD“ je zaměřena na zjištění vzájemných interakcí patogenních hub komplexu GTD s houbami rodu Trichoderma. Houby byly testovány in vitro duální kulturou a byla měřena inhibice růstu patogenní houby. Pro test bylo použito 5 izolátů patogenních hub a 5 izolátů hub rodu Trichoderma. Výsledné hodnoty byly porovnány a statisticky zhodnoceny. Všechny použité izoláty Trichoderma spp. vykazovaly schopnost inhibice patogenu, byly mezi nimi ovšem velké rozdíly. Jako nejúčinnější druh s mechanismy biologické kontroly byla vyhodnocena Trichoderma atroviride, kmen SC1.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis „Evaluation of the effectiveness of fungi of the genus Trichoderma on the elimination of fungal pathogens of the GTD complex“ is focused on the detection of mutual interactions of pathogenic fungi of the GTD complex with fungi of the genus Trichoderma. The fungi were tested in vitro in dual culture and the growth inhibition of the pathogenic fungus was measured. 5 isolates of pathogenic fungi and 5 isolates of fungi of the genus Trichoderma were used for the test. The resulting values were compared and statistically evaluated. All isolates used Trichoderma spp. showed the ability to inhibit the pathogen, but there were large differences between them. Trichoderma atroviride, strain SC1, was evaluated as the most effective species with biological control mechanisms.
